Its got a soft feel to it that seems to come through when you leave it overnight. Sometimes I keep in a towel because it is so much easier to wash. It has a thick feel and is very gentle on my joints, my joints have not dried out for that long so it can heal quickly. It also has a gentle feel to it that I can apply to my elbows. In fact when I opened it it was very much like a sponge - the texture was just so moist. I would definitely buy more with this.
